Rivers Governor Rotimi Amaechi Acquires $50M Private Jet

Rotimi Amaeachi, Rivers state governor has acquired a brand new $50 million Bombardier Global 5000 (N565RS) model private jet to be used exclusively by him.
The jet, manufactured in Canada left Quebec for Senegal from where it was handed over to Amaechi’s people.

The Amaechi led government had sold an airplane to the Cross river government who leased it to Aero contractors to run shuttle flights to and from Obudu cattle ranch. Another airplane was also sold last year by the River’s state government after they said it was too expensive to maintain.
Amaechi was reported to have sold an helicopter to Aero contractors while constantly chartering another helicopter from the airline at a more exorbitant rate.
