The IGP said in the statement that Coxson/Bright was owing one of the Aluu 4 money and instead of paying up when they came to collect, he raised a false alarm calling them thieves. He (Coxson) has disappeared, but will surely be tracked down. The statement mentioned 4 suspects as being directly involved in the killing. They are: Chigozie Samuel Evans, Felemo Solomon, Cynthia Chinwo, and Ozioma Abajuo. They said the Aluu community chief, Alhaji Hassan Welewa was the one who incited the mob to unleash terror on the young boys.
So far, 21 people have been arrested and the IG of police has ordered an full investigation into the alleged involvement of police men and have promised to bring to book any officer found involved in the horrendous killing.

ReplyDeleteAm glad that if nothing else, their names have been cleared, the truth needs to be told for the sake of their families. The culprits must al face the full wrath of the law.

ReplyDeleteIts sad. When he's found, he should be executed by firing squad. He's evil. What a way to be repaid for doing good ( in this case lending money to a needy person). SMH.
My dear its now a bad thing to lend one money as one might not even be alive to get †ђξ money back. This is indeed very tragic. I can just imagine what must have been going through their minds as they were being unjustly tortured. May their souls rest in peace after justice has been served in their favour.
ReplyDeleteI wish his pictures will be circulated via all kinds of media (TV, print, online, social networking sites etc) so that he can be easily identified and brought to book. Without his pictures, he may escape or even leave †ђξ country.
