Pres. Jonathan to attend Pres. Mahama’s inauguration in Accra

 

President Goodluck Jonathan is set to attend the swearing-in of Ghana’s President-elect, John Dramani Mahama which will be held on January 7.

Eleven Heads of state including President Goodluck Jonathan, have confirmed their participation in the historic event.
Delegations are also expected from 18 governments across the world.


Other world leaders to grace the occasion include Faure Gnassingbe of Togo, Mahamadou Isoufou of Niger, Blaise Compaore of Burkina Faso, Alassane Ouattara of Cote d’Ivoire and African Union (AU) Chairman, President Thomas Yayi Boni of Benin Republic.
